Abstract
This article presents experimental data on lead content in soil and plants as a consequence of continuous application of various fertilizer systems. In 24 yearsâ experience of fertilizer optimization of winter wheat we have revealed that optimum fertilizer systems (recommended, biologized, calculated) make it possible to maintain potential of total form of lead in arable land at and below natural background which is very important for agricultural practice. Despite continuous and systematic application of fertilizers both against natural background and under impact of fertilizer systems, lead concentration in minor and major products of winter wheat was significantly below MAC and MAL. Regression equations adequately reflect lead translocation in soilâfertilizerâplant system in crop rotation and in winter wheat in particular.
