Abstract
All the parameters like plant height, dry matter production at harvest, panicle/m2, fertile spikeletâs/panicle, grain yield and water use efficiency were significantly influenced by the levels of moisture regimes except test weight. The highest plant height (89.22 cm), dry matter production (987.33 g), panicles/m2 (288.09), fertile spikeletâs/panicle (94.05) and grain yield (45.98 q/ha) were found significantly superior in treatment I1 irrigation at 1 Days after disappearance of ponded water (DAD) to treatment I3 âirrigation at 5 DAD, but was statistically at par with I2 -irrigation at 3 DAD but test weight was found non-significant and more WUE was recorded in I3- which was at parity between I2. In case of organics, all parameters like dry matter production, panicle/m2, grain yield and water use efficiency were significantly influenced by the organics except plant height, fertile spikeletâs/panicle and test weight. The maximum dry matter production (1160.02), panicle/m2 (295.01), grain yield (51.60 q/ha) and water use efficiency (59.95 kg/ha-cm) were found significantly superior in treatment F2- 100 % RDF + Brown manuring (BM) to rest of the treatments, but in case of plant height, fertile spikeletâs/panicle and test weight were observed non-significant. So, it may be concluded that treatment I1 â irrigation at 1 DAD and treatment F2- 100% RDF + BM was observed superior to rest of the treatments.
