Abstract
Present investigation entitled âEvaluation of some plant extracts against major pests of soybeanâ was carried out during Kharif season on field of Department of Agricultural Entomology, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola. The experiment was planned in Randomized Block Design with gross plot size 3.0 x 2.4 m2 and net plot size 2.40x 2.24 m2 with eight treatments replicated thrice with the object to study the effect of some plant extracts against leaf eating caterpillar on variety JS-335 of soybean. The treatment of Quinalphos 25 EC 0.05% was most effective treatment followed by Neem seed extract 5%, Neem leaves extract 5% and Karanj seed extract 5% were found most effective in control of tobacco leaf eating caterpillar.
