Abstract

Suxenella crucigenaeformis Srivastava and Nisam, a rare member of Chlorococcales is collected during the study on algae from fish ponds at Anjale, Dist. Jalgaon, Maharashtra.This genus was reported only from Rajasthan. It is reported for the first time from Maharashtra. In the present paper its morphology and ecology is described.
