Abstract
Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Selsura, District Wardha of Maharashtra State is playing an important role in popularizing improved technologies. KVK conducted Cluster Frontline Demonstrations on Adoption and use of biofertilizers, viz., Rhizobium, Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB) and Trichoderma. CFLDs are demonstrated on farmerâs field according to their farming situation. The present study was carried out by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Selsura, District Wardha of Maharashtra state under ATARI Zone-VIII during 2023 24 and 2024- 25 to evaluate the impact of biofertilizers with significant sound on production technology and profitability of soybean crop. The cluster frontline demonstrations (CFLDâs) were conducted on 200 farmers' fields as per recommended practices. The farmer practice was considered as control plot. The demonstrations plots on farmers field were closely monitored by KVK Scientist. KVK organized different extension activities like training programme and farmers field school (FFS) to visualize the result of CFLDâs over conventional methods. The results revealed that the highest yield of soybean grain were recorded in demonstrated plots, i.e. 12.28 qt/ha over the control plot i.e. 10.74 qt/ha more over control. Impact of biofertilizerâs on yield of soybean crop was 14.34 per cent. The overall impact on adoption of technology was 524 per cent and overall change in horizontal spread of technology was 46.66 ha respectively.
