Abstract
The present study was conducted to examine the impact of organic nutrient management practice on growth and yield attribute of papaya var. red lady at the Horticulture Farm, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, MPUAT, Udaipur during the rainy seasons of 2021-22 and 2022-23. Sixteen different treatments, consisting of various combinations of organic nutrient inputs, were tested in a randomized block design (RBD) with three replications. The results indicated that among the sixteen treatments evaluated, the highest pooled values of plant height at harvest (i.e. 205.74 cm), stem grith (i.e. 47.94 cm), fruit weight (i.e.1.55 kg), fruit length (i.e.24.27 cm), fruit breadth (i.e.22.23 cm) and pulp thickness (i.e.3.11 cm) were recorded under T15 treatment (i.e. 10 kg FYM + N:P: K (100:100:300 g/plant/year), while the lowest pooled values of plant height at harvest (i.e. 161.38 cm), stem grith (i.e. 36.10 cm), fruit weight (i.e.0.63 kg), fruit length (i.e.14.16cm), fruit width (i.e.11.47 cm) and pulp thickness (i.e.1.35 cm) were recorded under T1 treatment (i.e. control).
