Abstract

The present experimentation entitled “Influence of Plant Growth Regulators on Growth, Flowering and Yield of Bottle Gourd (Lagenaria siceraria (Molina) Standle)” was carried out at the Hi-tech Unit, Department of Horticulture, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Udaipur during Kharif season in two consecutive year 2023–24 and 2024–25. The fourteen treatments comprised plant growth regulators and 3G pruning was evaluated on bottle gourd crop with three replications under randomized block design. Results showed that GA3 at 150 ppm was most effective in promoting vegetative growth, producing the maximum number of nodes per vine (32.16), internodal distance (15.80 cm), leaf area (308.00 cm2), vine length at harvest (554.47 cm) and earliest anthesis of first male flower at 42.12 days.
