Abstract
An experiment on âEffect of different sources of nutrients on the growth and yield of Rice (Oryza sativa L.)â was carried out during Kharif season of 2025-26 at the Crop Research Station, Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya (U.P.) India. The experiment consisting of eight treatments were laid out in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications. The treatments were -Control (T1), 100% RDF (120:60:60 NPK Kg ha-1) + FYM @5 t ha-1 (T2), 100% RDF + Application of Biochar@ 500 kg ha-1 (T3), 100% RDF + Nano urea spray@ 4ml l-1 of water at AT and PI (T4), 100% RDF + 2% Urea spray@ 2mg l -1 of water at PI (T5), 75% RDF + Application of Biochar@ 500kg ha-1 T6), 75% RDF +Nano urea spray@ 4 ml l-1 of water at AT and PI (T7), 75% RDF + 2% Urea spray@ 2mg l-1 of water at PI(T8). As per experiment the results revealed that the treatment (T4) produced higher grain and straw yield (54.62 and 76.70 q ha-1) than the other treatments. The maximum yield attributes parameters viz. Number of Panicle meter-2 (351.85), number of grain Panicle-1 (106.43), dry matter accumulation (1340.56) were observed with the application of 100% RDF + Nano urea spray@ 4 ml l-1 of water at AT and PI which was significantly higher over control (T1) treatments. Maximum values of all the attributes were observed with 100% RDF + Nano urea spray@ 4ml l-1 of water at AT and PI which was significantly superior to the rest of the all treatments.
