PRE-FLOWERING WEATHER CONDITIONS, RELATIONSHIP WITH YIELD FOR AYODHYA, INDIA

Abstract

Under the present investigation the span of 34 years data has been used to find out the effect of individual and joint effect. Four weather parameters (Minimum Temperature, Rainfall, Relative humidity, Evaporation) taken only according to their importance. The work has been carried out for rice crop due Ayodhya District of Eastern Uttar Pradesh. The correlation and multiple regression tech have been used to find out the effect of individual and joint effect. The maximum R2 63.3% showing in Evaporation, followed by Relative humidity with 61.2% R2, Rainfall with 56.8% R2 and Minimum Temperature with 55.7% R2. Similarly, the joint effect of two weather parameters maximum R2 in Rainfall and Relative humidity that is 76%, followed by Relative humidity and Evaporation and Rainfall and Evaporation with the R2 value 71.1% and 70.6% respectively. The minimum effect in joint combined variables showing in Minimum Temperature and Rainfall with 61.6% R2. This stage wise classified weeks and the effect of weather variables on yield has not been taken under the investigation earlier. This work will help for the scientists for future research on district wise data.
