Abstract
In the study, the adsorption potential of Flay ash for the removal of Pb(II) ions from wastewater has been investigated. Lagergrenâs pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order kinetic equation and Langmuirâs adsorption isotherm has been used to discuss the adsorption capacity of china clay for the removal of lead. Thermodynamic parameters such as free energy change, enthalpy change and change in entropy have been evaluated and discussed, and an idea process are spontaneity and feasibility of the adsorption process. And also study how the adsorption capacities are affected by different pH levels, different concentrations, different temperatures, and contact time.
