Abstract
Hyperythra swinhoei Butler, 1880 moth species belongs to the subfamily Ennominae, family Geometridae, superfamily Geometroidea, and order Lepidoptera. Species morphological characteristics include a wingspan range between 38-46 mm with yellow wings, often with pinkish colour and specific markings. Yellowish wings with pink areas, sometimes featuring distinct lines or patches; males have bipectinate antennae. This species predominantly feeds on plants such as Gouania. Previously, the distribution of this species was only recorded in four different regions of India: Delhi, Bargi region of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Khasi Hills of Meghalaya and Gujarat. This observation provides the first photographic record and occurrence of Hyperythra swinhoei Butler, 1880 moth from the state of Rajasthan.
