Abstract

The LASER diffraction is a robust and precise technique to monitor diameter of different kinds of wires. In fact, it is possible to measure the thickness of hair which is having smallest diameter as compared to wires accurately using this technique. As wings of fly such as Orthetrum Glaucum and Brachythemis contaminateis delicate, it is nearly impossible to measure the thickness of nodus cord and upper nodus of the wings. The thickness of nodus cord and upper nodus of wings of Orthetrum Glaucum and Brachythemis contaminate was successfully measured by LASER diffraction technique.
