Abstract
A field experiment was conducted at Orchard, Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, Annamalai University in 2023 to assess the effects of organic manure and bio stimulants on Dolichos bean (Lablab purpureus var. typicus). The various organic manures and bio stimulants utilized for this study include FYM, Vermicompost, Pressmud, Panchagavya, Seaweed extract, and Effective Microorganisms. The trial consists of twelve treatments with three replications. The study revealed the positive effect on protein content (%), fibre content (%), nutrient uptake (kg ha-1) and available soil nutrient status (kg ha-1). It was observed that the Dolichos bean exhibited a highly significant positive association with all the parameters when treated with FYM 12.5 t ha-1 + Vermicompost 2.5 t ha-1 + Panchagavya @ 3 %.
