Abstract
The field experiment was conducted at Horticultural Research Station, Mondouri, BCKV, West Bengal, Splitplot design with three replications. Four types of seed rhizome (single node 4g, 8g, 12g and multiple node 25 g) and three spacing (20x15 cm, 20x20 cm and 25x 20 cm) were included. Among different treatments combination, revealed that maximum yield per plot (11.98 kg 3m-2), projected yield (29.95 t ha-1) and oleoresin content of 7.12 per cent were recorded highest in planted with mother rhizome pieces directly sowing of 25g, economics of interactions revealed maximum net returns of Rs. 5,05,511 ha-1observed with 25g, 25x20 cm and maximum benefit cost (B:C) ratio of 1.54 for the treatment combination of 12g, 25Ã20 cm spacing respectively.
