Abstract
Chickpea variety Radhey was sown at Crop Research Centre, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, U.P., India, during Rabi, 2023-24 and 2024-2025 to evaluate the efficacy of novel insecticides and bio pesticides on pod damage by Helicoverpa armigera associated with chickpea. The percent pod damage Minimum pod damage was recorded in Flubendiamide 39.35%SC (6.83 %) and Maximum pod damage was in Beauveria bassiana (2Ã108 CFU /ml) (15.50%). The highest yield in 2023-24 and 2024-25 was recorded from Flubendiamide 39.35% SC treated plot 17.50 and 18.00 q/ha, respectively while lowest yield in Beauveria bassiana (2Ã108 CFU /ml) treated plot 11.50 and 11.20 q/ha, respectively.
