Abstract
The Experiment was laid out during 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 to study the effect of Cincturing and Biofertilizers Application on Flowering Attributes of Litchi (Litchi chinensis Sonn.) cv. Calcuttia in 15-yearold litchi tree of uniform size at Department of Horticulture, School of Agricultural Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The Experiment was laid out in Two Factorial randomized block design (RBD) with three replications comprising of 24 treatments. The Treatments were C0B0 : Control, C0B1 : C0+ Azotobacter @150g/tree, C0B2: C0+VAM @ 150g/tree, C0B3: C0+ PSB @ 150g/tree, C1B0: CL1, C1B1: CL1 + Azotobacter @150g/tree, C1B2: CL1+ VAM @ 150g/tree, C1B3: CL1+ PSB @ 150g/tree, C2B0: CL2, C2B1:CL2+ Azotobacter @150g/tree, C2B2: CL2+ VAM @ 150g/tree, C2B3: CL2+ PSB @ 150g/tree, C3B0: CL3, C3B1: CL3+ Azotobacter @150g/tree, C3B2: CL3+ VAM @ 150g/tree, C3B3: CL3+ PSB @ 150g/tree, C4B0: CL4, C4B1: CL4+ Azotobacter @150g/tree, C4B2: CL4+ VAM @ 150g/tree, C4B3: CL4+ PSB @ 150g/tree, C5B0: CL5, C5B1: CL5 + Azotobacter @150g/tree, C5B2: CL5+ VAM @ 150g/tree, C5B3: CL5+ PSB @ 150g/tree. It is Evident from the results that Cincturing level C2 (Cincturing level 4 mm width) and C1 (Cincturing level 2 mm width) found effective to increase the Number of panicle/Tree and treatment C5 (Cincturing level 10 mm width) and C2 (Cincturing level 4 mm width) have positive effect on length of panicle. Fruit set % was increased in C5 (Cincturing level 10 mm width) whereas, there is no effect of Cincturing and Biofertilizer was observed in Fruit Retention %, Fruit Drop and Fruit Cracking respectively. Among the Biofertilizers treatments B1 (Azotobacter @ 150g/tree) found in increasing the Number of panicle/Tree and Length of panicle (cm) in both year of investigation while B3 (PSB @ 150g/tree) helps to increase the fruit % in litchi crop.
