Abstract

A field experiment entitled as Effect of nitrogen management on yield and economics in transplanted rice (Oryza sativa L.) was conducted at Agronomy research Farm, CRS, Masodha, under the administration control of Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology Kumarganj, Ayodhya, during the Kharif 2024. Reported that 75% of RDN (Urea) (66% at Basal + 17 % at AT + 17 % at PI) + Two foliar spray Nano-urea at AT and PI @ 4ml L-1 of water, was found higher biological yield (136.5 q ha-1), grain yield (56.8 q ha-1) and straw yield (79.7 q ha-1) which was statistically at par with 75% of RDN (Urea) (66% Basal + 17 % AT + 17 % at PI) + Two foliar spray Urea at AT and PI @ 2ml l-1 of water and 100% of RDN through urea in three splits at 50% Basal + 25% AT(Active Tillering) + 25% PI (panicle initiation) but in the case of economics the higher B: C ratio (2.05) was recorded under the application of 75% of RDN (Urea) (66% Basal + 17 % AT + 17 % at PI) + Two foliar spray Urea at AT and PI @ 2ml l-1 of water.
