Abstract
India is a land of festivals and it is an undeniable fact that crackers are an integral part of them in this country. Being one of the major contributors in fireworks industry, India also possesses some serious threats when it comes to occupational hazards in the industry. In India, the highest percentages of crackers are manufactured in a city called Sivakasi. The atmosphere that the workers are being exposed to in Sivakasi and other parts of the country has got significant potential of heat stress development which is one of the major occupational hazards in Fireworks industry. The Paper discusses various strategies to mitigate the climatic effects of Fireworks Manufacturing in India, including technological advancements, regulatory measures, and public awareness campaign. It emphasizes the importance of Sustainable practices in the Fireworks industry to minimize environmental impacts while preserving cultural traditions. The papers also discusses the systematic perusal of the published works in the area of fireworks accidents in India. Overall, this review highlights the need for concreted efforts from government agencies, industry stakeholders and the public to address the climatic effects of fireworks manufacturing in India. By adopting sustainable practices and promoting eco-friendly alternatives, the country can mitigate environmental degradation and contribute to global efforts to combat climate Change.
