Abstract
A field experiments were conducted in a zinc deficient soil belonging to sandy loam soil during Kharif 2023. To study response of groundnut to the integrated use of zinc and organics. The experiment was done with eight treatments in randomized block design replicated thrice. The experimental data revealed that the treatment T7: Recommended dose of fertilizers(RDF) (NPK 20:80:60 kg ha-1) +soil application of ZnSO4 @ 25 kg ha-1 + vermicompost @5 t ha-1 +Rhizobium @ 600 g ha-1 through seed treatment had superior effect on plant height (32% ),dry matter production(21%), pod yield (39%) and haulm yield( 23%) as compared to over control. A combined application organic and inorganic fertilizer is necessary to optimize groundnut growth and yield.
