Abstract
Vision Viksit Bharat@2047 envisions an inclusive society by harnessing the collective energy of all Indian citizens towards economic growth, ensuring dignity and well-being for everyone. The slogan âSabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayasâ embodies this vision. Agriculture, a vital sector of Indiaâs economy, supports two-thirds of the population and contributes 18.3% to the GVA. As a global agricultural leader, India must adopt sustainable practices and modern technologies to boost productivity and address food insecurity. This study examines the potential of integrating ICT-based tools, such as AI sensors and drones, with sustainable agriculture in the Northern part of India. By leveraging these technologies, the Northern part of Indiaâs unique topography and climate can serve as a model for nationwide implementation. This study uses a secondary database to explore the integration of sustainable agricultural practices with digital farming practices suitable for the land of the Northern part of India. The study aims to support the achievement of multiple SDGs, aligning with Vision Viksit Bharat@2047.
