Abstract
Early blight of potato is caused by fungal pathogen Alternaria solani. Early blight is a common and widely distributed disease of potato. Bioagents, plant extracts, elicitors and fungicides are uses to combat early blight of potato. In the present investigation, among all the treatments, minimum percent disease intensity (7.16% and 8.74% during 2023-24 & 2024-2025 respectively) was recorded in T12(Tuber treatment and foliar spray with Tebuconazole 50% + Trifloxystrobin 25% WG @ 0.4%). Maximum plant height (44.56 cm and 45.03 cm during 2023-24 & 2024-2025 respectively), maximum germination percentages (100 % and 99.33 %during 2023-24 & 2024-2025 respectively) and highest potato tuber yield (26.87 t/ha and 26.32 t/ha during 2023-24 & 2024-2025 respectively) was recorded in T12 (Tuber treatment and foliar spray with Tebuconazole 50% + Trifloxystrobin 25% WG @ 0.4%). Highest benefit cost ratio (3.23 and 3.15 during 2023-24 & 2024- 2025 respectively) was recorded in T11 (Azoxystrobin 4.7% + Mancozeb 59.7% + Tebuconazole 5.6 % WG @ 0.4%).
