Whereas, nature education is one of the effective tools to develop environmentally responsive attitudes and cognitive abilities. The nature camping programme aims to provide Eco-club students an opportunity to learn about natural resources, ecosystem services and the importance of the area by involving them in environmental activities. This note highlights about the nature camping activities conducted in Satpura National Park which is part of Pachmarhi Biosphere Reserve, Madhya Pradesh. One of the four main strategic objectives of the UNESCO Man and Biosphere Programme Strategy (2015-2025) is Sustainability science, education for sustainable development and capacity building. The study demonstrates that educational interventions in form of field trips enhance environmental awareness level and knowledge among the students. Such nature camps are not only fulfilling one of the objectives of fostering environment education among the students but also assisting in management of Biosphere Reserves.
