Abstract
A field experiment consisting of ten treatments was conducted for one year (2023-24) in randomized block design with three replications at crop research centre, ITM University Gwalior to study the âEffect of biofertilizer and sulphur on growth, yield and quality of linseed (Linum usitatissimum L). The treatments consisted of three levels of sulphur, viz. 20, 40 and 60 kg/ha and three biofertilizers viz. Azotobacter, PSB, Azotobacter + PSB. Higher values of growth and yield parameters, seed and stover yield were recorded with 60 kg/ha of sulphur which is statically at par with 40 kg/ha of sulphur. The results indicated that higher growth, yield attributes and yields recorded with dual seed inoculation (Azotobacter + PSB). Higher values of gross return, net return and B:C ratio was found with the combination of 40 kg of sulphur + Azotobacter (B2 S40).
