Abstract
The field experiment was conducted during the Rabi season of 2023 at the crop research center, school of agriculture, ITM University, Gwalior (M.P) to find out the effect of integrated nutrient management on growth, yield and quality of field pea. The field experiment was laid out in a Random block design with ten treatments and three replications viz., T1 - Control, T2 - 100 % RDF (20:40:20), T3 - 75 % RDF + 2-ton FYM ha-1, T4 - 50 % RDF + 2-ton FYM ha-1, T5 - 75 % RDF + 2-ton Vermicompost ha-1, T6 - 50 % RDF + 2-ton Vermicompost ha-1, T7 - 75 % RDF + 2-ton FYM ha-1 + Rhizobium + PSB, T8 - 50 % RDF + 2-ton FYM ha-1 +Rhizobium + PSB, T9 - 75 % RDF + 2-ton Vermicompost ha-1 + Rhizobium + PSB, T10 - 50 % RDF + 2-ton Vermicompost ha-1 + Rhizobium + PSB. Growth parameters like plant height, leaf area index, dry matter and yield attributing characters such as pod length, no. of pods plant-1, no. of seeds pod-1 were noted highest with treatment, T9 - 75 % RDF + 2-ton Vermicompost ha-1 + Rhizobium + PSB. Highest grain and straw yield was obtained with the application of 75 % RDF + 2-ton Vermicompost ha-1 + Rhizobium + PSB (T9). The crop quality in respect of protein content is increased significantly with conjoint use of bio-fertilizers and Vermicompost and maximum values were recorded with T9 - 75 % RDF + 2-ton Vermicompost ha-1 +Rhizobium + PSB.
