Abstract
A field experiment was conducted during Kharif season of 2023 at the Crop Research Centre-1, ITM University, Gwalior, (M.P.) India to evaluate the âEffect of Integrated Nutrient Management on growth and yield of Black Gram (Vigna mungo L.)â. The experiment was laid out in Randomized block design (RBD) with three replications and twelve treatments. The results showed that the application of 100% RDF+Rhizobium (seed treatment) + Vermicompost 2.5t ha-¹ + FYM 2.5 t ha-¹ recorded higher crop growth attributes viz., Plant of height (45.43 cm), Number of primary branches per plant (6.79), Number of secondary branches per plant (15.61), Dry matter accumulation (410.09 gm-²) and Leaf area index (4.51) over the control plot. The higher yield attributes viz, number of pods per plant (34.29), pod length (6.82 cm), number of seeds per pod (7.38), Test weight (38.65 g), grain yield (1280.84 kg ha-¹), straw yield (2820.04 kg ha-¹) and harvest index (31.23), was recorded with 100%RDF+Rhizobium (seed treatment) + Vermicompost 2.5t ha-¹ + FYM 2.5 t ha-¹ compared to the rest of the treatments.
