Abstract
Disposal of solid waste is one of the key problems in the world. Agricultural, temple and household waste are high in carbon value. In India, people make many flowers offerings to Gods. All this becomes âNirmalyaâand is eliminate either in water or on land. Leads to environmental pollution and health hazards. Floral waste is biodegradable and have it carbohydrate, proteins and minerals needed for microbial growth. So, it was thought to produce media capsules. Here, floral wastes were utilized to prepare media for fungi. It acted as a superior and extremely promoting medium. Also, the capsule protects medium from moisture and prolonging shelf life. It can therefore be used commercially for isolation and cultivation of microbes and is very economical compared to expensive commercial media available in markets.
