Abstract
Water is important for survival of all living things. The increase in pollution level changes the properties of water. In the present study three season that are Monsson, Winter and summer were selected. Collection of water samples was done from two sites that are Dhondbar and Konambe of Dev river. Water parameters such as pH, Oxygen, CO2, Alkalinity, Hardness, Temperature, TDS, were analysed by standard methods. Data of the present study was recorded for all the parameters. The pH ranges from 7.1 to 8.3, Oxygen was in the range from 4.83 to 8.86 mg/l. The maximum value of CO2 was 43.9 and lowest value was found to be between 200 to 370 mg/l. TDS varied from 170 to 300 mg/l. Values of hardness ranges from 140 to 168 mg/ l. The maximum temperature was 30o C and minimum was 20o C. It Was found that seasonal variation is prominent.
