Abstract
A field experiment was conducted during Zaid, 2023 to study the âEffects of Sulphur levels and Naphthalene Acetic Acidon growth and yield of Greengram (Vigna radiata L.)â at SHUATS, Department of Agronomy, SHUATS, Prayagraj (U.P) India. The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with ten treatments replicated thrice. The treatments consist of Sulphur and Naphthalene Acetic Acid along with recommended doses of fertilizers. The treatments consisted of 3 levels of Sulphur (15, 25 and 35 kg/ha) and 3 levels of Naphthalene Acetic Acid (10, 15 and 20 ppm) along with recommended doses of fertilizers (25- 50-25 kg N-P-K/ha). Sulphur at 35 kg/ha along with Naphthalene Acetic Acid at 20 ppm. The results showed that significantly higher growth parameters at 45 DAS viz., recorded highest plant height (34.87cm), maximum plant dry weight (10.71 g), number of nodules (17.75), number of leaves/plant (8.22), number of branches/plant (5.79), test weight (3.81 g), seed yield (12.85q/ha), stover yield (25.17 q/ha), and harvest index (35.67%) content in seed.
