Abstract

A field experiment was carried out at Crop Research Centre-1, ITM University, Sithouli, Gwalior (M.P.) during Kharif season 2023-24 on ”Effect of Integrated Nutrient Management on Yield and Economics of Green Gram (Vigna radiata L.)”. The experiment consists of 12 treatment combinations, viz.T1- Control, T2- 100% RDN, T3- 100% RDN + Vermicompost (3 t ha-1), T4- 100% RDN + (Fym 5 t ha-1), T5-75% RDN + Fym (1.25 t ha-1), T6- 50% RDN + FYM (2.5 t ha-1), T7- 75% RDF + Vermicompost (0.75 tha-1), T8- Fym (5 tha-1) + PGPR, T9- Fym (5 tha-1), T10- 50% RDF + Vermicompost (1.5 t ha-1), T11- Vermicompost (3 t ha-1) + GPR, T12- Vermicompost (3 t ha-1). The result revealed that when we applied (T7) 75% RDF + Vermicompost (0.75 t ha-1), it gave a higher yield and was at par with (T11) Vermicompost (3 t ha-1) + PGPR (PSB + Rhizobium + pseudomonas) and 50% RDN + FYM (2.5 t ha-1). Grain yield (1362 kg ha-1), straw yield (2945 kg ha-1), biological yield (4307 kg ha-1), harvest index (31.62%), and maximum values of gross return (Rs. 131579 ha-1), net return (Rs. 91122 ha-1), benefit cost ratio (2.25) and lowest values were recorded in control.
