Abstract

Bananas are a major commercial crop that the Vasai region majority of farmers cultivate. One of the biggest challenges to the cultivation of bananas is nematodes. Tylenchids have long been recognized as a major challenge to banana production, leading to significant yield losses. As a result, this study aims to examine how the abundance of tylenchid nematodes changes in response to various abiotic soil factors. According to the results of the current study, the tylenchid nematodes population were high throughout the rainy, winter and remained comparatively lower in the summer season.
