Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find new strains of bacteria that form an associative symbiosis with rice (Oryza sativa L.) and study possible mechanisms of their positive effect on plants. Classical and progressive methods of investigation were used to isolate identify and systematize. Based on 16S rRNA gene analysis, the strain No. 72 was identified as Flavobacterium sp. The close related species of which is Flavobacterium pectinovorum, with a similarity level of 98.52%. Based on the acetylene-reduction method, was shown that the ability of Flavobacterium sp. 72 can fix the nitrogen of the atmosphere in pure culture. This will allow it to develop at a low concentration of nutrients and provide plants with biological nitrogen. Using UPLC ACQUITY H-class ultra-efficient liquid chromatography (HPLC) system, the ability of the Flavobacterium sp. 72 to synthesize indolylcarboxylic, indolylacetic and indolyl-lactic acids. All of the above makes the strain as active regulator of plant growth.
