Abstract

Concrete is the most versatile building material. Effect of curing causes to change the property of concrete. This research aims to investigate and evaluate the property of concrete curing with water and without curing using natural resins and chemical curing components. Curing of concrete is essential to attain ultimate design strength of concrete. Curing components is most useful in places where patch works in roads and canals the transportation cost of water is higher than normal, scarcity of water such as desert areas and curing with water is difficult because design of structure. Concrete strength development is influenced not only by the water-to-cement ratio, but that it also is influenced by the content of other concrete ingredients, method of curing, etc. This paper focuses on curing methodology of M25 grade of concrete is cast and it is cured by normal water curing and then it is compared with two non curing methods one by using natural resins another by using chemical components as curing component. The concrete with and without curing is tested for compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength at age of 7 days, 14 days and 28 days.
