DISPOSAL PRACTICES OF JEANS AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Abstract

The jeans is the variation of pant which is mostly preferred by youngsters. The college going students opt for jeans due to various reasons like better fit, comfort and so on. Lifecycle of the jeans is not complete without knowing its disposal practices. The present study was planned to find out the disposal practices of jeans among female university students. The interview schedule method used as a tool in survey. The survey was conducted on female students of G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. It was found that almost all the respondents followed different methods of recycling while disposing. They also reused the jeans in various ways in order to reduce solid waste pollution.
