PHYSICO-CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF GROUND WATER OF ARMORI TOWN OF GADCHIROLI DISTRICT, MAHARASHTRA, INDIADILIP B. PATIL, RAJENDRA V. TIJARE AND S.B. REWATARAbstract The ground water analysis of different wards of Armori town was assessed by examining various physico-chemical parameters such as pH, Electrical conductivity (EC), Total dissolved solid (TIDS), Dissolved oxygen (DO), Alkalinity, Hardness, Free CO, etc. A comparison with W.H.O. and B.I.S. standards shows that the water is suitable for domestic and potable purpose.
