PHYSICO-CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF GROUND WATER OF ARMORI TOWN OF GADCHIROLI DISTRICT, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA

Abstract

The ground water analysis of different wards of Armori town was assessed by examining various physico-chemical parameters such as pH, Electrical conductivity (EC), Total dissolved solid (TIDS), Dissolved oxygen (DO), Alkalinity, Hardness, Free CO, etc. A comparison with W.H.O. and B.I.S. standards shows that the water is suitable for domestic and potable purpose.
