EFFECT OF CIGARETTE SMOKING ON LUNG FUNCTIONELIZABETH SAMEUL, C. KESAVACHANDRAN, R SANIL AND S. SHASHIDHARAbstract The study aims to explore the lung function of cigarette smokers. The tests were carried out with a spirometer (vitallograph compact-II). Results show a clear indication of reduction in the "lung volumes" and "flow rates" irrespective of all criteria of subjects.
