SULPHUR DIOXIDE INDUCED CHANGES IN THE BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL OF ALBINO RAT, RATTUS NORVEGICUS (BERKENHOUT)Asha Agarwal and Poonam SharmaAbstract The present experiment was conducted to study the toxic effects of two different concentrations (60 and 120 ppm) of SO, for 15 and 30 days on blood sugar level in albino rat, Rat/us norvegicus (Berkenhout). The results indicate that the blood sugar level decreases very highly significantly after 15 days exposure, while significantly af- ter 30 days exposure to 120 ppm sulphur dioxide gas.
