INTRODUCING A KEY FOR ACP-OPYRON SPECIES IN IRAN ACCORDING TO ANAT.MCAL CHARACTERISTICSS.Ghollassimood, A. Ariavand and j.SahebiAbstract Agropyron Gaertn is a plant with strong roots and good reproduction abilities. Therefore, it can be used for animal feed in pasture and intensive care of feeding live stocks. Using morphological characteristics of Agropyron is fairly difficult and any mistakes could be made when keying out its species. Attempt was made in order to find a new way to key out these species according to their anatomical criteria. In order to study anatomical characteristics, samples were sown and cross sections were taken from leaf, stem and epidermal peels of both surfaces stained with green methyl and Carmen. Tissues from green house were compared with the ones that gathered from nature. In these ways slides were prepared and pictures were taken so their anatomical information could be evaluated and anatomical key was offered.
