Abstract

The present investigation was carried out at Crop Research Centre-1, ITM University, Sithouli campus, Gwalior during kharif, 2022-23 in a Randomized Block Design with three replications. Eleven quantitative traits were used to evaluate the performance of 15 genotypes. The results of character association analysis showed a substantial positive correlation between stem diameter and plant-level grain yield. As a result, developing these characters also enhances the yield of each plot. On the other hand, days to 50% blooming showed a substantial negative genotypic correlation with yield per plot, which is desirable to increase the selection of early genotypes.
