As the plant holds important medicinal value and is endangered due to poor tapping methods, over tappingand lack of insect pest and disease management strategy, present review tried to enlist insect pest anddisease problems associated with the C. wightiito attract the researchers to look into its integratedmanagement for saving this important asset of Rajasthan and Gujarat.
