Abstract

Fungicide is serious adulterantof the aquatic environment because of itsenvironmental persistence andability to be accumulated by aquatic organisms. Labeo rohitawas exposed to low, medium and highconcentrations of Profenofos for 15 and 45 days. After 15 and 45 days of exposure red blood cell (RBC) andand Hb content decreased when compared to the control. The number of white blood cells (WBC) increasedin Profenofos treated fish.
