Abstract

The present experiment deals with the impact of treatment of sodium arsenate, on the biochemical parameter of blood of catfish, Clarias batrachus. The catfish was exposed to LC50 of sodium arsenate in laboratory condition for determined duration. We studied the total protein level in blood of catfish alteration induced by lethal concentration of sodium arsenate. It brought significant changes in protein level as compare to control value. The biochemical study of blood of Clarias batrachus, total protein was decreased in sodium arsenate treated group with prominent variation in acute toxicity.
