Abstract

Chronic exposure to noise and exhausted gases of private electrical generators has affected the human health and might be responsible for increasing cases of malignancy in Babil province during 1990-2018. Data were obtained for about 18686 malignant cases from the clinical database of Oncology center, Merjan hospital & oncology center, Al-sadik hospital. Studying the history of the malignant cases and investigations were provided an evidence that the long-term exposure to high level noise (more than 90 dBA) and exhausted gases of private electrical generators is linked to the incidence of bronchus and breast cancer. During the recent three decades, the usage of private generators was increased very much by the Iraqi families, so an extra noise and air pollution was resulted and that accompanied with increasing the registry of bronchus and breast cancer cases in Babil province.
