ECONOMICAL-BIOLOGICAL FEATURES OF SIMMENTAL AND HOLSTEIN HYBRIDSA.P. Velmatov, N.N. Neyaskin, Al-Isavi Ali Abdulamir Hamza, T.N. Tishkina and À.À. VelmatovAbstract The article provides a comparative evaluation of the economic and biological characteristics of the animals derived from the holsteinized bulls of domestic, European and Canadian selection. All the genotypes obtained from interbreeding are characterized by good lactation activity and high milk productivity. The animals derived from sire bulls of Canadian selection, regardless of their colour, had a predominantly strong constitution, and only a small number of them - a gentle and dry one. The glandular tissue of udder in holsteinized black-and-white cows of the Canadian selection is better developed than in the red-and-white ones. A strong constitution is characteristic of cows obtained from sire bulls of European and domestic selection. With the increase in lactation performance, the reproductive functions of cows decrease, especially in the case of black-and-white animals of Canadian selection.
