Abstract

The article provides data on the zoobenthos biodiversity of the Kambileyevkariver, which experiences a significant man-made impact in the settlement zone. Species composition represented by 4 classes, 4 orders, 14 facilities, 15 genera and 28 species, has been identified. The purpose of the article is to study the species composition, ecology and specifics of amphibioticfauna distribution of the Kambileyevka River in light of man-made impact. A five-fold decrease in species composition and benthos density in contaminated areas has been registered includingtotal absence of fauna in the areas of direct contamination. Bio monitoring of amphibiotic fauna is required for the conservation of the Kambileyevka River.
