AIR POLLUTION STUDY IN THE SELECTED AREAS OF TIN FACTORY AND YELAHANKA JUNCTIONS IN BENGALURU CITY – A CASE STUDYS. HARINATHAbstract This paper has made an attempt to assess the trend of air pollution caused by vehicles and other activities in Bengaluru city, present study was carried out in selected areas of the city and the results were showing higher than the permissible values. The study shows that the traffic volume influences to increase the pollutants in the city. During peak hourÂ’s traffic volume is plying predominantly very high due to this effect the increase of pollutants in higher level than permissible level.
