Abstract
The role of noninvasive and minimally invasive procedures in cosmetic medicine and surgery is constantly increasing. Fatty tissue transplantation is a minimally invasive reconstructive cosmetic procedure used in patients with the loss of tissue volume or disruption of body contours resulting from diseases, trauma, birth defects or normal aging. Characteristics of fatty tissue make it possible to use it as universal filler. Main techniques for fatty tissue sampling are vacuum aspiration, syringe aspiration, and surgical excision. The process of transplantation is accompanied by a complex of biological processes. The paper discusses in detail the possibilities of fat cellsâtransplantation for facial rejuvenation, handsâ rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, breast and buttocksâ correction, as well as potential complications of these procedures.
