Abstract

In dairy products, where nitrates and nitrites are contained, the dispersity of fat capsules is changing, the specific surface area of milk protein membranes is increasing. New generation of antioxidant preparations have appeared which contribute to the recovery of the organism, lactation processes and optimization of productivity and physico-chemical properties of milk in lactating cows. The purpose of the research is to study the effect of the new generation of antioxidants Epofen and Mold-Zap on the digestive metabolism of lactating cows, which rations contain a subtoxic dose of nitrates. The results of the studies were processed statistically by the Student method using the software package “Microsoft Excel”. The combined use of Epofen and Mold-Zap preparations in dairy cattle diets with a sub-toxic dose of nitrates contributed to an increase in milk yield of 3.4% (basic) fat content. According to this indicator, the cows of the 3 test group had the best results - 4415 kg, which is 8.49% more than in the control group of cows. Thanks to these preparations, the cows of the 4thtest group outstripped their control analogues by the coefficients of organic matter digestibility by 3.06%; crude protein - by 3.18%; crude fiber - by 3.21% and NFE - by 3.31%. In the course of the reference period of the metabolism trial, the animals of the 4thtest group for a day deposited in the body 15.22% more nitrogen as compared with the cows of the 1st control group. With the combined addition of Epofen and Mold-Zap in the diets of animals, in the content of the three first compartments of the stomach (rumen, reticulum, omasum) of animals of the 4th test group as compared with the control animals, the growth of bacteria Flavobacterium vitarumen intensified by 29 thousand/mL (P> 0.95), which was accompanied in a given group of cows with a proportional increase of proteinase activity - by 3.34% (P> 0.95). Co-administration of these preparations has contributed to the increase of infusoria number in the three first compartments of the stomach- 189 thousand/mL in the test group 4 versus control cows. This provided an increase in cellulase activity in animals of this group by 3.50% as compared to the control.
