MAL BIODIGESTER TYPE FIXED DOME ARCHITECTURE AS A TOOL TO ACCELERATE DEVELOPMENT AS A TOOL TO ACCELERATE THE LIVESTOCK WASTE PROCESSING INTO RENEWABLE ENERGY (BIOGAS)FREDERIK PALALLO, MUHAMMAD ARDI AND MOH. AHSAN S. MANDRAAbstract The community of Palipu Village of Tana Toraja Regency as the object of dissertation research in general farmers. Almost all of them have livestock which until now they do not utilize the waste of its herd become biogas, because it is judged as an expensive cost of processing the herd waste. It needs to be made a tool to accelerate the construction of biogas installation Mal or Bio digester prints consisting of inlet malls, reactor malls, dome malls and mall outlets. The expected goal of the design of the mall bio digester is to change the attitude of community independence in livestock waste management and provide knowledge in using appropriate technology. The method used in the achievement of the objective is to design and build a bio digester mall and then tested in training to determine the practicality and effectiveness of the bio digester mall. The result of the research shows that the construction of biogas installation using mal digester fixed dome type 4 m3 capacities with the workforce of 5 people is needed 40 hours working time. So that the development cost is cheaper thus the use of bio digester mall (inlet mall, reactor mall, dome mall and mall outlet) is more practical and useful.
