The method is used to organize the strategies regarding to the internal and external factors using SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats). The results of IFAS and EFAS matrix show that the IFAS and EFAS score is respectively 0.13 and 0.16. Both matrix results show positive values that when plotted in matrix, the Grand Strategy is at quadrant 1. Thus, the recommendations suggested to State Junior High School 31 Semarang are (1) Optimizing the already-established Adiwiyata team work to develop the environmental education through planned activities, especially excellent programs organized with more modern management and intensive publications. (2) Developing networks by improving and expanding partnership relationships with the external parties which have similar goals in the environmental management (3) Inviting other schools with more experiences to share the environmental education in utilizing facilities and infrastructure for the learning media (4) Optimizing the efforts to become an Adiwiyata school at a higher level to encourage all school members to participate in supporting the environmental activities at schools.
