HISTOLOGICAL STUDY OF THE IMMUNOGENIC EFFECT OF K_ANTIGEN ON RABBIT LIVER INFECTED WITH AMOEBA PARASITES ENTAMOEBA HISTOLYTICAR. H. ALABBASY
This study was conducted to investigate the immunological effect of the capsular polysaccharides (K - Antigen) extracted from Klebsiella pneumoniae on the histological structure of the liver in the adult white rabbit males which has been empirically infected with Entamoeba histolytica parasite. In this experiment 28 of the adult white rabbit males were used which have been divided to 4 groups 7 animals per group, control group, which swallow saline physiological solution, the second group, which was injected with E. histolytica parasite, the third group injected with (K-Antigen) extract, the fourth group injected with (K-Antigen) extract and then swallow with E. histolytica parasite.The results of the histological examination showed many differences in the histological sections examined for the treated groups.
